PHENTERMINE APPETITE SUPPRESSANT

Phentermine (Adipex) is an appetite suppressant that has successfully been helping people lose weight since it was released onto the market. It is designed to be used in combination with a healthy diet and regular exercise.

How It Works

Adipex works by affecting parts of the central nervous system that effectively suppress the feeling of hunger. It stimulates the hypothalamus gland and affects certain neurotransmitters to decrease appetite. The hypothalamus is the region of the brain that controls the autonomic nervous system, regulating sleep cycles, body temperature, appetite, etc. Adipex is known to increase levels of energy within patients which can be expended through exercise.

You should not use Phentermine if you have heart problems, heart disease, high blood pressure, hyperthyroidism, a history of drug abuse, or glaucoma. Phentermine can interact with several medications, so be sure to tell your doctor about all drugs you take.

Phentermine should only be used under doctor supervision.

COMMON SIDE EFFECTS

Like all prescription appetite suppressants, you should consult your doctor about side effects to watch for. Be sure to tell your doctor about all medications you take, as some can interact with phentermine.

  • trouble sleeping
  • dizziness
  • tremors
  • increased sweating
  • hyperactivity or restlessness
  • upset stomach, nausea, or constipation
  • dry mouth
  • blurred vision
  • headache
  • irritability
  • changes in sex drive
  • hair loss

Your doctor can tell you about other potential side effects. Additionally, you should be aware of certain side effects that your doctor will want you to contact about, including changes in mood, heart fluttering or pounding, changes in urination, or increased blood pressure.

Phentermine, Phendimetrazine, and Qsymia should NOT be used as a substitute for a proper diet or exercise. For maximum effects, they must be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet and/or exercise. Any modifications to your diet, activity level, and behavior must be developed and continued long-term in order to continue losing weight and prevent the lost weight from returning. Transformyou will help you stay on track with your medical weight loss goals, checking in on you frequently regarding your general health, weight, etc. and adjusting your medical weight loss plan according to your needs.

All patients always work directly with one of our licensed physicians to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
